Updated: AFT Scoring Scales (Approved 15 May 2025, Effective 1 June 2025) The Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) was renamed the Army Fitness Test (AFT). The Standing Power Throw (SPT) was removed -- 5 events remain. New scoring scales introduced separate Male/Combat (M|C) and Female (F) standards for all events except Plank. Plank remains gender-neutral.

AFT Standards -- What You Need to Know
- ✓ 5 events: 3RM Hex Bar Deadlift, Hand-Release Push-Up, Sprint-Drag-Carry, Plank, 2-Mile Run
- ✓ Standards are gender-specific (Male/Combat and Female) and age-adjusted per FM 7-22 / ATP 7-22.01. Plank is gender-neutral.
- ✓ Minimum 60 points per event. Failing any single event means failing the test.
- ✓ Time events (SDC, Plank, 2MR): enter in mm:ss (e.g., 1:53 for 1 minute 53 seconds)
- ✓ The Standing Power Throw was removed June 1, 2025. Scores are now out of 500.

Every U.S. military branch has its own fitness test. Events, scoring, and standards vary. All branches now use the plank as a core event.
